ApurrltheCat Now Dog Mom

I love to stand up on my hind legs like a kangaroo, long walks, and modeling my long nails!

Yes, you read right. Introducing the world’s most spoiled and boujee six month old chihuahua, Di'ogee! Literally pronounced like dee oh gee.. DOG. (Previous owners magic ha!) This was not planned at all, but I'm so glad it happened.

Remember my Summer 2k18 Bucket List, Well I did go to spend time with my family in AZ this past week! During that time my cousin Felicia intended to get a dog for her sister. We picked up Di'ogee and we cared for her for an entire week until we had to drop her off at her new home. She would not leave my side and I gave her all the cuddles I had. When it came down to it my cousins thought it would be best for me to keep her because she got so use to me.

I know your probably thinking, but your ApurrlTHECAT? Yes! I still am, but also I am still allergic, sadly. So, I will say this. I am the cat in this friendship! From now on it will be ApurrltheCat and Di'ogee. It’s only been one solid week since I've had her and feel this is going to be a great companionship!

So far this is a brand new experience for me and I’m still getting used to it. I’ve only ever known cat body language and how to set up a home to nuture them. This cat lady is sitting back and observing and learning from  Di’ogee! We are working on going 100% potty outside, treating the crate as a positive setting, and getting on a routine schedule together. Other dog moms out there I would love any advice you have for me! My Di’ogee thanks you for it!
